The following Timeline is compiled from
CKC Program correspondence.
June 1985 - Special formula was
instituted by CKC which would permit D'Aoust to apply
for registration of foundation stock and three
generations of progeny.
October 1985 - CKC agrees to set up Examining
Committee to inspect foundation dogs and three
generations of progeny.
April 12, 1986 - Report of Committee Appointed to
Inspect Dogs Imported by Gerald D'Aoust - details on
each dog follow dog's pedigree in Documentation on
Founders and Predecessors Table. Members of this
Committee included CKC Director Mr. L.T. Haverstock,
Arlene Miller and Barbara Ratledge.
May 1986 - Examining Committee submitted report to
CKC recommending registration.
July 1986 - Ed Holdham, Chairman of Registration
Committee, 1984 - 85, recommended registration.
September 1986 - Ed Holdham advises CKC that D'Aoust
met the three original conditions.
