This book is offered as a study of the Lhasa Apso. A product of Tibet, the Lhasa Apso is gaining yearly in popularity both as a s show dog and as a family pet. In an effort to help the new dog owner, this book offers chapters on the Lhasa Apso's personality, his care and feeding, and his place as a member of the family. This book is a result of the experiences gained by the Author in working with the breed for more than a dozen years as a breeder, exhibitor, and judge. It is a pooling of the knowledge offered by other breeders during this period of time. Acknowledgement is here made of the contributions of the many exhibitor-breeders who have shared their knowledge, their records, their photographs, and their time in bringing this volume to publications.
